minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•18 hours agoI think these types of greenhouses typically also use sunlight through the the roof/walls like a normal greenhouse and the artificial lights are only in supplement so they can control the amount/duration of light year round.

Greenhouses are a scourge.
They need better shutters.
I think these types of greenhouses typically also use sunlight through the the roof/walls like a normal greenhouse and the artificial lights are only in supplement so they can control the amount/duration of light year round.
Should still have shutters they close at night to reduce light pollution.
