Maybe get some of those permits for your animals before you get them killed through negligence. Dont play chicken with the State. Dont vote for Donald Trump.

Killing an animal because their owner didn’t have their papers is ridiculas. The animal shouldn’t be punished because the owner was a dumbass.

They didn’t kill him because he didn’t have a permit. They killed him because they couldn’t verify the squirrel’s health, due to the owner forgoing vet treatment and documentation, because he didn’t have a permit for the squirrel

      Bro what the fuck?

Nobody is actually voting trump because of this and NY did fuck up so heavily here its beyond reality.

You defend people killing animals just because _.

The reason the animals where apparently killed is stupid as hell and the people that did it need to be burned like witches for this. “Cameras went out” wow.

He had multiple warnings to get his permits. Everyone knows you keep the feds and police away from your animals if you care about them, by getting the proper permits for exotic or wild animals. I’m not saying it was right to shoot a squirrel. But what’s not right is ignoring everything and then whining after you got your own house raided and animals killed.

Is there any legitimate prove to your claims?

Also, wow still defending assholes killing animals for fun. Why would you need a fucking (expensive) permit for a small animal that isn’t much different from a hamster?

I’m not arguing with you about city laws regarding keeping wild animals as pets. Its dangerous and requires special permits for a reason and it has more to do with protecting the animals than you think.

Edit: and whose to say the person that shot the squirrel did it for fun? What if they have deep regrets? Can you prove he was killed for fun?

Nobody shot the squirrel. It was taken away and euthanized to check for rabies. Which is kind of dumb, since not a single case of rabies ever has come from a squirrel in the US.

Its super dumb because rabies kill a animal within 2 weeks and the animal in question lived in the house for two years. Rabies also don’t just come out of nowhere.

I’m not arguing “City laws” I’m asking you to prove your shit.

And yes I can prove it was killed for fun and to hurt the owner. “Camera went out” they came there and took someones domestic animals while there are waaaay bigger problems with wild animals they don’t do shit about. They knew it didn’t have rabies, a fucking google search can show how it didn’t have it. They complained that a animal was not amused about intruders wanting to capture it.

This shit show office doesn’t know shit about animals when they behave like that and permits for a fucking squirrel don’t protect anyone or anything. It would be different for large, dangerous or endangered species, but a squirrel is small, lives near humans anyway and they aren’t endangered at all, especially since both killed animals where rescues and squirrels are intelligent enough to seek help of humans https://www.four-paws.org/our-stories/publications-guides/squirrel-in-need

You support people killing animals for fun. Because when there is no need to do something and you still do it, its because you want to and its fun for you.

I dont support that but OK. Permits exist to protect animals from people but go off and accuse me. Remember, regulations are written in blood. Love how my comment gets removed for not being civil but its chill for you to call me an animal abuser lmao

Nearly as fucked up as making viral videos with an animal and never bothering to make sure its legal before you exploit it.

Dude used the squirrel to make viral videos, now that his money stream is gone because he never bothered to get permits for the poor squirrel he’s blaming the state of New York. The raid wouldnt have happened if he got permits and if some other Rubepublican in Texas wasn’t screeching about him not having it. This is one massive Ruth Goldberg footgun and the only victim here are the rescue animals he kept as pets.

not to mention the squirrel got injured to the point it’s bone was sticking out of its tail and the guy didn’t take it to the vet because they wouldn’t let him keep it as a pet.

When everyone else leaves out essential details…

They knew it they needed a license, they knew it needed care, but they didn’t take care of it or make any effort to make it legal because…they didn’t want to lose their upload momentum?

In 14 states it’s totally legal. Also, not a single case of rabies in the US has ever come from a squirrel. They can be a pet as much as a rat can be a pet and those are allowed in pretty much any state.

Squirrels are just bushy tailed tree rats, rats are not prohibited or require permits in any state. The law is idiotic and killing an animal because the owner didn’t have papers is idiotic and spiteful.

The animal wasn’t killed because the owner didn’t have papers. The animal was killed because it was on video several times biting it’s owner, and you cannot test for rabies without killing the animal and examining its brain.

Rabies kills animals in about 10 days. We have years of videos… It didn’t have rabies. Since lived indoors you can also reasonably prove that it couldn’t get rabies either.
