They don’t think about the fact that their cellphone has parts from all over the world, or their car has pieces from 6 countries in it before being assembled in Georgia. They think “assembled in the US/Packaged in the US” means the whole thing, stem-to-stern, is from the US.
It baffles me that people genuinely think Trump’s tarrif policies will be good for a stock market centered in america with global supply chains.
