Oh I can tell you who’s out. Way the fuck out before the end of January and probably not coming back in the foreseeable future:

I am doing my best too, but my two youngest kids are now over 18 and I am unsure how we can bring them with us. Plus I own my own business and have a lot of inventory to unload so we have the capital to get out of town.

I wish we had not been complacent for the last 4 years and had spent that time getting ready for today,

Yeah, it’s going to be a lot of work, but I have a leg up because I’m a dual US/UK citizen. But we’ll still have to sell the house, get us and the dogs over there, find a new place to live, find work…

My wife works for a company that has offices in multiple EU countries and was authorized to work from any of them. But we also have the house to sell (which is a double wide mobile home not on a permanent foundation so it will be very difficult to sell), and animals to move too. Best of luck to you and your family.

One upside with the UK is that the dogs don’t have to be in quarantine when we bring them over.

Sad, right after that library was built. But these are the real consequences of fascism

Yep. And we have been talking about it on and off for a while, especially back when Biden was still running. But life has to go on until we’re ready to go.
