Russian strategy during their winter offensive was to send masses of mobilized to their deaths to ‘soak’ up Ukrainian fire (as if they’re sponges and not human lives) and then send experienced soldiers/ Wagner’s mercs afterwards. Most of mobilised are minorities from the poorer regions so the Moscow/St.Petersburg urban crowd don’t get impacted much and continue to support Putin.
Ethnic cleansing via enemy fire is a psycopath level of outsourcing.
And that isn’t even a high number, more like “average”. There have been days where it’s been 1000+. Truly baffling how the Russians are seemingly fine with this.
