Summary

Far-right Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene claims that Donald Trump’s recent election win validates her position as part of “mainstream America” rather than the “fringe.”

Greene, known for her controversial conspiracy theories, argued on conservative outlet Real America’s Voice that Trump’s supporters align with her beliefs.

With speculation that she might join Trump’s cabinet, Greene asserted that loyal MAGA supporters should be prioritized for roles in his administration over newcomers like RFK Jr. and Vivek Ramaswamy, emphasizing her unwavering support for Trump and his policies.

This election has shown me that my values aren’t compatible with most other Americans, and that is very hard to understand. I’m looking for the best alternative.

I’ve come to the conclusion that there is no best alternative.

Republicans are full on racist, fascist, crazy people.

Greens are all the above with the rotted veneer of liking the environment.

Libertarians are all the above plus more racist and crazy minus the environment.

Democrats are incompetent, won’t let go of being Republican-lite, and are unreliable allies like MLK warned about.

Progressives are petulant, instant gratification demanding, iPhone attention span, unreliable allies that MLK warned about.

Right now, I’m just going to go full independent and stop trying to fix any of this shit show and concentrate on just surviving and making sure my kids have an out. I’ve got no confidence in anything in this nation that isn’t better than this so fix it yourselves, I’m out.

I feel exactly the same. I think people should start to self sort. I’m moving to Germany so of course the government collapsed.

Most other countries won’t accept American refugees without qualifications that most of us don’t have. So a lot of us are going to be stuck here, for better or worse.

Even a blue state would be better. Though I think that depends on how much blue state governors resist.

      I live in Kentucky. I need out. I haven’t had anyone say anything because I’m 6 foot 4 220 pounds, but I don’t feel safe. I’m surrounded.

I’ve been looking into options. Spain has my interest.

Spaniards have recently been known to throw bananas at black football (soccer in American) players, I’m not sure they’re a particularly viable alternative.

Americans think they have a lock on racism. But we’re noobs at it. Europe has about 1000 years on us in that arena.

That is unfortunate, but also Tuesday in parts of the US. I’ll be on the lookout for a racially diverse, lgbtq+ friendly, left leaning country with socialized medicine and good educational systems, but I may need to compromise somewhere to escape in a timely manner.

Racism is inescapable. I’m more interested in things like not for profit health care, social safety nets, public education, and in general, government that isn’t solely focused on maintaining infinite growth for corporations and a few wealthy individuals.

      Why?

Everyone who agrees with you just didn’t vote. Sure that made trump win but the populace is stupid and doesn’t pay attention. Most ppl don’t really know how bad it will be.

There are way more of us than there are of them.

I fear we are at the point where our numbers no longer matter. Protests will be met with violence from the state. The military will be used against political rivals. The populace will be given a mold and will be punished for breaking out of it.
