    If you look at the dictionary definition, it means pretty much exactly the opposite of what you said. Also, the D party is not highly aligned with the definition of liberal, so you’re also wrong about it meaning always voting blue.

      The democrat party gave up on democracy and traditional liberalism after they lost in a landslide to Reagan.

          Both can be true when we take into account propaganda!

          The dems run on “liberal” and “progressive” ideas and immediately run to the right as soon as they’re elected. Although I would argue part of liberalism they’ve abandoned is free speech rights.

          Leftists call this shit out for what it is, and liberals eat up the propaganda and then gleefully overlook a genocide and vote blue no matter who, smugly insulting anyone who doesn’t do the same as voting wrong.
