Approximately 195 million adult Americans didn’t vote for Donald.

Approximately 75 million people voted for this asshole.

That’s not ⅔ of the country.

But it was enough people according to the rules of the game.

195 million Americans could have voted. I’ll be generous and assume 40% were unwillingly removed from the voting registrations or couldn’t vote by mail. That still leaves 117 million Americans who simply did not care about who was going to win. They were just as fine with having a neoliberal president with feeble, token acts of progress, or a fucking fascist. The apathy in this country is rampant and I find it horrifying. It means they feel isolated from whatever consequences come next.

TBH I think the dems didn’t care who was going to win. Otherwise they could have nominated Bernie, Michelle, etc. They chose genocide and internal favors over winning.

Also most people live in places where their vote doesn’t matter. We should really only be talking about swing states. Everywhere else is just political theater.

Not voting is standing by as fascism comes into power. They’re just fine with it.

And if the dems hadn’t nomintated a trash candidate, they would have stood by while fascism lite came into power. That’s what happened last election. Libs were fine with it.
