      Splitting, also called binary thinking, black-and-white thinking, all-or-nothing thinking, or thinking in extremes, is the failure in a person’s thinking to bring together the dichotomy of both perceived positive and negative qualities of something into a cohesive, realistic whole. It is a common defense mechanism, wherein the individual tends to think in extremes

      There is no joke, and there is no context. This person is hilariously obsessed with proving Linux is baaaaaaad, and has no problem with twisting the truth just to make their point

      It’s no joke. Linus users trash talk Windows and call it spyware. Meanwhile Firefox (most common default web browser for Linux) has a lot of telemetry, Google as default search engine, and Google as it’s financier. (In addition to Android being Linux according to some).

      I’m not against telemetry, just the hypocricy.
