The law has proven this past two years in neon lights that it is failing its people. Allowing threats like this will only encourage the behavior. Abusers start with threats, and the more power they think they have will encourage more and more abuse. This is hate speech, but the law isn’t doing anything about it.
Worth it. If a bigot gets punched in the mouth for using racist slurs, worth it. Violent-laced language is an attack, and has consequences.
