I’m looking to buy four class-1 ebikes; two for my partner and I, and two for my older teenagers.

I want to make sure they’re class-1 (or lockable to class-1) to maximize where we can use them. Even if enforcement is rare, I don’t like the worry of bending or breaking rules.

We mostly do forest trails, but some road and ORV trails.

Budget = $2k per ebike

When I search around it’s all name brands I don’t recognize and I don’t trust most random reviews even in reddit. Thanks for your advice fellow lemmings.
