I don’t think it would, especially if you look at it over a period of time. It could definitely be misrepresented, but anyone with the intellectual curiosity to look at ratios would probably be less likely to misrepresent it.
Even by population ratios, that’s gotta be really rare.
Outwordly trans people make up like 1% of the population. So one incident could screw with the stats more than you’d like.
