minus-square@M600link8•29 days agoI tried it once with Reddit a long time ago and they never asked me to verify I was from the EU, they just told me that the data would auto be deleted after x amount of days. Not sure if it still applies as AI is hungry for all that data now.

GDPR exists in the entire EU
And the UK because it predates Brexit.
And it applies to EU citizens living abroad, so even if you’re not one, submitting a request can work.
