And this is why F1 bores me. There’s largely 1 person that wins every race for 5-8 years at a time, then someone else steps up to win so many races it’s not worth watching.
If I know who’s going to win at the start of the race, then that person jumps into the lead and stays there the whole time, things need to change.
Tell me you’re not watching without telling me you’re not watching.
Per F1:
• The 2024 season is the first in F1 history in which four different constructors have finished one-two in a Grand Prix (Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes).
• It’s also the first season in history in which four constructors have won at least four Grands Prix each.
• And the first season in history in which seven drivers have won multiple Grands Prix.
This is an attitude from someone that cares nothing at all about the details of the race or the season other than “who won”.
There’s an enormous amount of other stuff going on across the field that is interesting that you’re straight up ignoring and don’t know a single thing about.
Just admit that you don’t like F1 regardless of who is winning.
What other motor sports do you watch? My guess is zero.
If not for a bunch of McLaren blunders this season would have been an all-timer. Not sure what you were watching but the stretch between June and November was genuinely thrilling and Lando had a solid shot at clinching his first championship this year were either he and McLaren a bit better or Max and Red Bull a bit less perfect at extracting the maximum of every weekend.
The stretch of mid '22 through '23 was a low mark in terms of excitement I agree (though we had some awesome races last year if you discount who won), but after what we’ve seen this year I’m very hopeful next year will be an absolute thriller. There is a genuine chance we’ll have a 4 way title battle!

My man did you watch what was going on this season?
Probably only watched Monaco, Vegas and Singapore or something.
Some races someone builds a giant lead, or barely any overtakes happen. But overall this season has been a good one.

My advice is to stop watching it then. Nothing wrong with that, this is just not your type of sport.
