That’s not really how that works. It would be how it worked if you directly injected water into your bloodstream, but you’re drinking it instead. The way it is absorbed through your stomach/intestines is not going to cause your blood cells to become destroyed unless you drink an insane quantity of it, like multiple gallons in one sitting. We are meant to be able to drink regular water.

I sleep with my mouth open and wake up with a bad headache at times due to dehydration
Have you tried taping your mouth shut? The optometrist once told someone I know to tape their eyes shut while sleeping. LOL
