If you compare AC to the giants of the genre like Rune Factory, Story of Seasons, and Viva Pinata then you’re already scraping the bottom of the barrel
It’s a game about collecting furniture. So I guess it would be P2W if they sell the furniture for real money. Which is the most obvious thing to do, and surprising Nintendo didn’t already do it.

I don’t think Ubisoft could make something like this without it being pay to win somehow
