              People are trying to use them like performance enhancing drugs for academia. But of course, they don’t work like that for normal people.

                I guess, but aren’t we using it as ‘performance enhancing’ to be on the same level as other people? Like glasses. If someone who didn’t need glasses wore special glasses that helped them see better, would it be cheating? Maybe, actually. I’m not sure lol

                    Yeah, and it allows them to focus for longer than usual, they don’t have the same calming effects as us, but there are performance benefits at the right dose for anyone (even non adhd folk)
