I will never understand why this is an issue. If a qualified doctor certifies that you have no more than 3 months, then why be forced to waste away in a nursing home or even worse burdening a family member as you slowly die.

I know what you are talking about regarding to unburden the health system lets just let the patient die now even though they may have much more time left. I would of course disagree with that. Sad that even with something as final as death some governments are playing politics rather than allowing a physician with no skin in the game to assess the patient
