This is absolutely not an unpopular opinion. It’s honestly a great movie, not just a great Schwarzenegger movie.

The score is incredible, it has some very cinematic shots, James Earl Jones, the terse bonding of Subotai and Conan…I don’t even really care much for the plot, the movie is simply a vibe to enjoy.

The only part I could do without is Sandahl Bergmann, due to no fault of her own, but it is a well-known fact she didn’t get along with Schwarzenegger, and her arc also feels forced.
