We are considering replacing our 58" 1080p plasma TV. It has minor to moderate screen burn in from CCTV and hoping the included scrolling program fixes it, but also looking at a new TV. Good upscaling is the most important feature as we still have mostly lower quality videos. Likewise we play ACNH every day so a TV that does good upscaling of the Nintendo Switch is ideal.

If you have any TV recommendations from personal experience, please post it. There is no rush to buy, we are very early in the product research process, and have not yet decided a price range. I did read the budget TV brands do not do a very good job of upscaling. However if ACNH players are using 4K (60 + inch) and happy with their set up, we would like to learn more about it.

Thanks

Joe

Once I came across rtings.com on reddit I never went back. Their ratings for everything have helped me make a few purchases. It is especially difficult now I find when buying something because Brand “A” charges $999 for the same (in theory) as Brand “B” but it turns out Brand “A” is hot garbage compared to Brand “B” even though they’re both big name brands.

    Have fun!
