It’s about goddamn time. It’s a blessing and a curse that Russia was tied up in Ukraine.

Unfortunately, I haven’t read enough into Syria over the last few years. One can only hope the post-revolution chaos is minimal. (It takes time to setup a new government and there are going to be massive power vacuums.)
