New York City Mayor Eric Adams appears open to switching parties to become a Republican, as he declined to rule out a future change in political allegiances during a pair of interviews Friday that came as he has increasing warmed to President-elect Donald Trump.

The comments from Adams, the top Democrat in one of the country’s most liberal cities, riled critics who have grown concerned over the mayor’s increasing willingness to throw his support behind Trump and his hardline immigration policies.

Adams, who faces federal corruption charges, was a registered Republican in the 1990s and early 2000s but has spent his political career as a Democrat.

No I didn’t. Why are you lying?

What a weird as hell thing to lie about.

Dude you are way to invested and knowledgeable about an internet stranger’s life and post history. Get some help.

Invested, maybe. But I wouldn’t say knowledgeable.

Buddy supports Eric Adams so no, I don’t think he’s ok. Drinking too much of the koolaid will do that.

No I literally did not. That’s literally not true. I have no idea why you need to make things up when there’s plenty of legitimate reasons to hate me.

            Hey now, cmon.

The illegitimate reasons are way more fun because you can just make crap up!

But on a serious note, I hope the plans for Jan go smoothly. We are planning our exit a bit more long term, targeting before my daughter is of an age that would be a concern. Also don’t have dual citizenship so this whole business is going to take a bit while I get an employer set up to sponsor me…

I hope so too. I’m wanting to line up a job before we go as well so the savings don’t get depleted and credit cards don’t get maxed out. Good luck to you. My wife also doesn’t have dual citizenship, so she is in the same boat.

If Canada wasn’t in the same housing crunch as America (and we’re now limiting immigration) I’m sure we’d be involved in America’s brain drain.

I hope everyone who’s planning a move can get where they want to go sooner rather than later.
