Does anyone have any suggestions for a 20"x4" puncture resistant tire setup? I was just bragging to a couple friends that I’ve never had a flat tire on a bike, which meant it was time for me to get a flat.

Should have taken the time to put flat out in my tires, but I didn’t because I was a dumbass and wanted to ride right away. QQ

Update: I have decided to go with Tannus Armor and Flatout to be extra sure. Still going to carry a couple of spare tubes and tire tools to be safe but hopefully I won’t need them until the stock tires die. After that, I might replace them with some tires that also have built in puncture resistance.

Patched the tube for now, looks like it was a pinch flat. Waiting for the Tannus armor to come in along with some slightly smaller tubes, which is apparently recommended for the liners. Gonna put some flat out in there too, I’ve been running that in my mountain bike and never had a flat.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I’ll let you know how it goes!

Oof, that sucks. I had the same thing happen this morning: I am definitely upgrading to puncture resistant tires and tubes along with some flatout. For now I’m riding my old mountain bike, which I’m also probably going to convert.

It looks like CST makes some puncture resistant 20x4 tires and they seem to be a decent brand so I’m probably going with those unless someone has something better.
