minus-square@PseudorandomNoiselinkEnglish15•1 month agoOnce Microsoft enabled it by default in IE/Edge that was the end of it. The whole point was to be an opt-in. Ironically it was also used as another data point for fingerprinting users. It was a nice idea in theory but it just wasn’t gonna work.
Not like any website ever took that “request” seriously.
