Substitutions were terrible. Trossard turned it over every time he touched it, Nwaneri and Jesus had 5 combined touches, Partey and Jorginho passed it around at the back. Not to say the starters were any good, but the subs stood out as being particularly bad.
one did notice that the team didn’t involve nwaneri in the play as much as they did odegaard. as soon as that substitution was made, the ball went out to the left flank far more often.
