A cryptic tease aired during Monday’s edition of Raw that featured a zero flashing on the screen before a flaming line crossed through it. The zero then continued to flash before the new Raw logo appeared, suggesting whoever the tease is for will be debuting in the new year.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that the belief is the tease is for Penta El Zero Miedo. Whether the former Pentagon Jr. will be undergoing a name change upon joining WWE is unclear but he did file to trademark his catchphrase “Cero Miedo” several months ago.

Penta had been a part of All Elite Wrestling from 2019 until his contract with the promotion expired in early December. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion had a tumultuous exit from the promotion, with AEW adding injury time to his contract after the promotion reportedly discovered he and Lucha Bros tag team partner Rey Fenix had talks with WWE while still under contract with All Elite Wrestling.

Rey Fenix remains signed to AEW until well into 2025 after the promotion added injury time to his contract. Fenix recently ranted about AEW on X (FKA Twitter) but he has since deleted those tweets.

Looks like Penta will indeed be moving forward as a temporary solo act in WWE, at least until Rey can make his way over.

Would WWE even take a chance on Fenix? This guy is more brittle than Randy Orton and CM Punk combined.

It would not surprise me if Penta’s agreement to sign was conditional on them bringing in Fenix when his time comes, given how much Penta has said he wants to tag wrestle, not solo.

Given the injuries and his consistent inability to not air dirty laundry/feed dirty laundry to Konnan to have him air/etc it would not surprise me if they put him on a tight leash.
