I’m very aware of the context. For my entire life Democrats have spent more time talking about building coalitions with racists or pointing at their token centrist progress blocker than they have doing anything useful. Say what you like about Republicans but they get their horrible shit done when they have the chance and they don’t give a fuck about decorum or tradition and their voters love them for it.
