I feel wifi is more simple though? No need to run cables through walls, or worse, out in the open or use additional equipment like switches. Just plug it in and connect.
Is it more simple in that it requires less physical stuff. Sure. But it’s impossible to get the wifi to be as good as wired provided you’re jacked into the modem (switch) itself.
It can get almost as good though with modern tech.
