Not to m knowledge. Old buildings brighten up the city and pull in tourists. Much better than the umpteenth glass willy standing up. Royalty UK-style is like that( nice for historical reasons , looks great and pulls in the tourists), but it might be nice to turn it into a 9 to 5 job and have the actors live in state-supplied, much cheaper villas. Heating alone would probably save millions each year.
