minus-squareTanis NikanalinkEnglish9•2 months agoAccording to my wife (also a therapist), the purpose of therapy is to generate enough paperwork to satisfy the whimsy of the government and private insurers. After that, if she’s actually helped people and gotten paid, it’s a bonus.
Speaking as a therapist (seriously) the purpose of therapy is whatever the client says it is.
