Hey, we always paint Republicans in the worst possible light. Let’s look at her qualifications:

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callista_Gingrich

    • she was a congressional staffer during the impeachment process for Bill Clinton
    • She started having an affair with Newt Gingrich (who was 20+ years older at the time) while he was the House Speaker, investigating Bill Clinton’s infidelity.
    • Newt left his second wife, who was suffering from MS, and eventually married her.
    • She made documentaries and wrote children’s books, all in partnership with her new husband.

In short, she is living the Conservative woman’s dream: the trophy wife, whose entire existence is defined by being healthy enough to appear alongside her husband for photo-ops. (Health is important: he dumped his other two wives when they got sick, after all.) All of her business, political, and diplomatic success is due to having sex with the right, powerful man.

Sounds like she’s qualified for this administration.

The Swiss should refuse her credentials. Sending a moron like that is insulting. What’s next? Appoint a horse as ambassador?

She has already been an ambassador to the Vatican under Trump, though. And the Swiss send all those guards there…

The Swiss Guard is still very much a thing

            https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss_Guard

The Swiss Guard is considered an elite military unit and highly selective in its recruitment: candidates must be unmarried Swiss Catholic males between 19 and 30 years of age, and at least 5 feet 8.5 inches (1.74 meters), who have completed basic training with the Swiss Armed Forces and hold a professional diploma or high school degree.[6][7] As of 2024 there were 135 members.[8]
