I have more money now.
Unlike in your 20’s where going out almost always meant alcohol is involved and it goes late into the night, the things I do now are more chill and usually end before 11PM, with alcohol optional.
This, but I also have far better taste in things than I did when I was in my 20s. A very very very small part of me is glad I was poor back then because I know I would have spent money on a lot of garbage. Can’t say I’m perfect now, but at least it feels like I’m spending it on more useful things and better experiences.

I think I’ve used the picture + the British use of “going out” (i.e. going to pubs and clubs and getting drunk late into the night).
Having a more relaxed evening out with “alcohol optional” sounds ideal.
