You should take a look at the Tesseract UI at https://tesseract.dubvee.org/c/[email protected]. It supports embedding loops as a regular video file so that you get browser-native controls, fullscreen, and all that good stuff.
I suspect Loops will get better about that itself too. It’s still under heavy development, and there’s a lot of UX that needs improving, but the dev is fixing issues like that at a rapid clip. It will be open sourced and federated, so if the official client sucks, there will be better ones.
it’s so weird to imagine that the way of the future is to have less control over pausing or rewinding videos.
