Yeah QI seems to be quite strict about their copyright online these days. I remember back in 2013/14 it was easy to find whole episodes on YouTube. I wouldn’t even have to go looking for them, the algorithm would just feed it to me. Shame they started to cut down on it, but thanks to that I started getting more into other UK panel shows.
I mean my autoplay pretty much defaults to full episodes of QI.
But I did check today, and they had claimed a few of the bigger playlists.
Luckily there’d still several “all qi episodes” playlists. They go up to like a few years ago.
But yeah clearly they’ve been a bit tighter, but UK panel shows are one of the easiest ones to find as complete episodes at least for me (Finland), giving me the impression that while BBC does care about their copyrights where they broadcast, they’re not really that bothered by people who wouldn’t be using BBC anyway.
They showed quite a lot of QI on Aussie TV, according to QI.
I these are basically available in countries in which QI doesn’t air.
