the average american has essentially zero regard for the well-being of non-human animals, this is not surprising in the least.

They aren’t so good about the well-being of their fellow humans, either. Think of all the things other civilized countries have that we don’t because people don’t want to pay for anything that doesn’t benefit themselves and only themselves.

Blaming Americans here for not having universal health insurance is a bit brash IMHO

Sure we have retarded population but the will of the people rarely has any impact on policy.

We don’t have health insurance because ruling class said so, first and foremost. Stupid people just enable owner class to live their best lives.

That indirectly still supports my argument.

Plenty support the owner class. The American owner class doesn’t want to pay to help. They’re still Americans either telling you to be selfish to feed their profits or voting for the people supporting individual selfishness. They may be stupid people, but they’re still keeping us from having nice things.

Meanwhile China is eating dogs. It’s not an American thing, it’s a people thing

How does it matter whether it’s dogs or cows? Factory farming any animal is a great wrong we should leave behind us as quickly as we can.

Correct, which is why I said it’s a people thing
