I pay for one music streaming service and have access to any music I want without having to think about which record label released which album. Why is it still illegal for studios to own movie theaters, but not streaming platforms?

It’s not illegal for studios to own movie theaters. Paramount Decree was struck down a couple of years ago.
Expect it to get worse over the next four years.
