Although a fairly recent tradition, dating only back to the 5300s, it is an important celebration to many of our co-religionists.

      It’s usually in Shevat, but it moves around every year. Fun fact: even though they don’t even follow the moon, they still refer to their divisions as “months.” Because the moon can occur in any time if the month, Christians actually have to use special printed calendars to know when each gregorian “month” begins, although they often indicate when the new moon actually comes.
