Thronefall is basically a tower defense game. Cataclysmo is Stronghold with smaller wall blocks that you can stack. Dystopia seems to not really be a game at all, much as a fancy building block set. Terrascape is a puzzle game where some of the tiles have pictures of towns.
Workers and resources is definitely a straight up citybuilder. I haven’t played or seen much from Worshippers, but Dystopika is a citybuilder in the same way that building blocks are. There isn’t really a game, just a construction set.
I mean, technically you’re building a city, but is it a game?
Are they? I thought the genre was a bit more expansive than just building a city and having no other elements to it, unless you mean something else.
I will admit, I only played Manor Lords and Sim City of this specific list.

While Dystopia isn’t really a citybuilder game, more of a sandbox building set, you can sort of play it as a city-builder if you make your own rules.
Oh I played Thronefall, I was kinda ignoring those “runner up” mentions because at first I thought it was just in-site SEO filler
I thought you were talking about Dystopika, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, and Worshippers of Cthulhu
