Alexander’s legacy includes the cultural diffusion and syncretism that his conquests engendered, such as Greco-Buddhism and Hellenistic Judaism. So yeah. Hellenistic is another way of saying Greek, as in Greek Judaism. Which is where the god thing comes from, I guess.
