I actually liked my active 3D monitor back in the day, although I’d have liked it a lot more if I didn’t already wear glasses. I used it for Assassin’s Creed (I think 3?) and was pretty baller. Got it working with Final Fantasy XIII too and it was almost tolerable of a game. Almost.
I still have strong doubts, but theoretically eye tracking that is good enough could probably pull it off. I’d probably like it, but still would probably remain a novelty and not worth the expense.
