Few times I’ve gotten to witness when someone brakes onto traffic lights and the uncleared snow from the roof slides onto their windshield and is too much for the wipers to handle.
I drive a truck myself and since the roof is a bit difficult to reach I got a brush with a telescopic handle and a rotating head that I can flip 90 degrees and use to push the snow down from the roof. Works great.
Those extendo handle ones are so great. Spend the extra $10 and get a good one. My work truck is over 7’ tall, but I liked it so much I got one for my car and another for my wife’s car.

SnoBroom/SnoJoe. They’re about $10, maybe $15 today.
Hell, I only had that shitty 2’ brush thing when I started driving, in a place where there was as much ice as snow, and I still cleared off my car.
