I am not. I would love to see a striker or a quality player who can operate on the right wing come in. But I just don’t see it happening given our recent track record.

In a way I can see why: mid-season transfers are almost always way over-priced. But I think our already tenuous title challenge goes right out the window if we don’t strengthen the squad right now.

We have to sign a forward, full stop. If we don’t, then the club is surrendering a chance at the title. Now whether or not that forward will be a good signing, that’s a different question. We’re definitely going to pay over the odds. We might even get 2 if we manage to sell Kiwior to Italy.
