Not sure about the exact value of this, but it almost certainly would’ve been custom made. Mass-produced jewelry of this period would be unlikely to have been made of gold, as far as I know. I’m no expert on ancient jewelry, though.
I’ve wanted to purchase an ancient ring to wear for quite some time now, but I don’t know how to spot a fake, and I definitely don’t want to overspend on something made in modern times.

Well, if you’re interested in antiquities, know that most legitimate ones will come with proof of their provenance - being bought and sold over the years, where it’s been, where it originated, etc. Other than that, you’re in unknown territory - I’ve never had the opportunity to get into owning antiquities myself!
