minus-squareAlphane MoonOPMlinkEnglish14•edit-23 days agoAn interesting device, but also full of compromises: Subpar single thread performance (on the level of ~2017 x86 cores) Multi thread performance is results are solid, but still lag behind latest x86 CPUs No DDR5 or PCI-E 5.0 No Nvidia driver for “Windows on ARM” (I am assuming this will change in the next ~12 months)
minus-squareAlexlinkfedilink3•3 days agoI’m still waiting for a non-buggy PCI implementation. Intel and AMD northbridge implementations have had many years of development to get to where they are today compared to whatever IP most Arm PCIe implementations seen to be based on.
