    It’s wild that this exact same thing happened before, and the general consensus was that the vegan community was wrong to ban assholes that’d downvote every vegan post.

      It’s so bizarre how people were circlejerking about the vegans from that incident but then act like I was a jerk for downvoting posts about dangerous diet.

      Vegans cant ban downvoters but carnivores can what a joke.

      According to these people the vegan communities are “insular, closed-minded and echo chambers” while the carnivore communities are just “protecting their way of life”

        I’m kinda on the fence. If the community is allowed to exist, you should be banned for down voting every post. If you don’t like a community’s content, just block it and move on.

        What pisses me off is the blatant double standard.

        (Edit: I do obviously think communities that endorse animal abuse shouldn’t be allowed, though.)

          I suppose contacting the admins about the dangers of the diet would’ve been more constructive.

          Being banned from the carnivore community is a badge of honour like getting booted out of r/vegetarian.
