The way I see MLS there are 3 goals: Develop great young players who eventually end up in top flight European leagues Bring in retiring talent from top flight leagues to help develop young players Work to make the divide between 1 & 2 as close as possible (4 Overlap 1 & 2) (5 Become a top flight league)
