Quite a nice surprise! Sid Meier's Civilization VII from Firaxis Games / 2K has been given the green tick of approval from Valve, as it's now Steam Deck Verified ahead of release.
It’s also possible I’m wrong, I never played the games before CIV6 (or not enough to learn them), but on Fdroid it’s described as an “Open source 4X civilization-building game” which I assumed means it’s a CIV4 clone.
Either way, it’s a good game - one of the best open source mobile games for sure.
Yeah, it took me long enough to get used to the changes in 5, I like the game and am somewhat inclined to stick with it.

I played both so maybe I’m confusing the rulesets but I thought it was Civ V. Totally possible I am wrong though.
