We’d lose before we started. An unfortunate amount of tech, parts, packaging, food, medications, clothing and all sorts of other things come from China. If they closed that door due to war, China would snatch up Taiwan because there’s nothing to lose at that point and the average person would get hosed in the US. Think Covid level shortages and even worse.
Potentially also the US prepping for war with China.
