      Article doesn’t praise him for it. He’s also incorrect about making adversaries weaker. Russian shell/missile production higher than west, and growing. China is stockpiling, and advancing in tech level while depletion in west, is likely to motivate a shift to wars US can win and EU can’t defend: Greenland.

          Very high GDP growth. Higher than US. Very high wages due to high military pay, and lots of military production jobs. There is inflation and high interest rates. Ruble is not amazing, but stable. There’s enough domestic demand that export sanctions doesn’t affect jobs, and Russia is self sufficient in everything essential, and benefits from China exports for tech.
