I posted this post on 3D [email protected] and cross-posted it to [email protected], and apparently it made it to neither.
For the lemmy.world community, I’m not really surprised. I simply can’t create any post on any lemmy.world community from SDF. None of my posts ever shows up there for some reason. But I’m more surprised that it doesn’t show up on lemmy.ml: usually I have zero problems with that instance.
So I’m wondering if there’s a problem with federation or if it has something to do with the large number of photos in my post.
Anybody knows?
I can see this. And I’m in world. World does have some strangeness when it comes to sync sometimes. Peertube still doesn’t work with it. But mastodon does. Might be related to the version they are using?
When you mean “this” you mean this thread about federation issues on SDF, or my post that apparently didn’t make it to [email protected]? Because the former was created on SDF - which always seems to be visible from other instances - while the latter was created from SDF in a community on lemmy.world, which rarely works for me.
